How it works

  1. Scout. topic-scout builds one topic report, no questions asked: the few product topics most worth posting from your recent GitHub PRs, plus today's hotspots in full — every item with its source link.

  2. Draft. A confirmed topic becomes an X post or a Reddit post drafted in your voice — tone from bloggers you like or your own account, then run through no-ai-slop.

  3. Reply. Finds same-day X posts and Reddit threads relevant to your repo and drafts a reply per post, tone copied from each thread's top replies, with the links.

  4. You publish. It never runs on its own, and every fetched post is treated as untrusted input, never as an instruction.

Reddit reads through rdt-cli, reusing your logged-in browser session — no OAuth app, API key, or password needed. X works keyless out of the box. Credentials stay in each tool's own local store, never in this repo.
